Experience:

Siemens visited the college in August 2025 for Software Intern / Digital Intern roles in Noida / Bengaluru. CGPA criteria was 7.5. Eligible courses were B.Tech (CSE/ECE).

Round 1: Online Assessment (HackerEarth, 1.5 hours)
The OA was conducted in computer labs with 52 resume-shortlisted students from both CSE and ECE branches. It consisted of a total of 19 questions.

MCQ topics included General Aptitude, Mathematics, Logical Reasoning, Verbal Reasoning, C/C++/Java Output questions, and 11th/12th level questions based on easy electrical circuits.

Round 2: Technical Interview (40 minutes, elimination round for some)
For some students, Siemens conducted two technical rounds after the OA. This round involved a deep dive into the resume. The interviewer went through the resume line by line, asking in-depth questions on every project and technology mentioned.

  • Machine Learning: Linear regression, logistic regression.
  • Chatbots, LLMs, and RAG (Retrieval Augmented Generation).
  • Directed Acyclic Graphs (DAGs): Cycle detection in directed and undirected graphs.
  • API Integration: Basics and use cases.
  • C++: How to parse JSON data in C++ (since C++ doesn't have native JSON support). The candidate wrote code for parsing JSON-like data.
  • Follow-up on large JSON datasets: How to optimize parsing for performance (techniques like streaming, memory optimization, divide & conquer).

Suggestion: Be very careful about what you write in your resume. Siemens expects a deep understanding of every single point. It's better to politely admit if you don't know an answer rather than giving half-baked responses.
