Experience:

The selection process for the Android App Developer internship consisted of four rounds.

Round 1 (API Challenge): This round involved an API challenge where candidates had to submit their name, email, contacts, and other details using a company-provided API. Basic knowledge of APIs was sufficient to clear this round.

Round 2 (Coding Round): The second round was a coding test with 15 multiple-choice questions related to the Android app developer domain, including 3-4 basic reasoning questions. This was followed by two medium-level coding questions. The first question was similar to "Partition a set into two subsets such that the difference of subset sums is minimum", and the second was similar to "Longest Increasing Subsequence". Both questions were based on dynamic programming.

Round 3 (Technical Interview): The technical interview covered various topics. Questions related to the candidate's project (a full-stack social network app using Flutter-Firebase) included encryption and hashing algorithms, difficulties faced, and contributions to team projects. The interviewer also asked to implement OOPS concepts in real life, with the candidate providing a chess game example to justify polymorphism, inheritance, and encapsulation. Further questions covered basic programming concepts like OOPS and OS, the difference between a hash map and a hash table, cycle detection algorithm in a linked list, and merge sort vs. quick sort.

Round 4 (HR Interview): This was a telephonic HR interview, lasting about 5-6 minutes. The HR asked about the candidate's background, favorite subjects, future plans, and willingness to relocate. Upon agreeing to relocate, the internship offer was extended.
