Experience:

This candidate was selected for a Business Technology Analyst role through an on-campus drive. The overall preparation duration was 3 months, focusing on Aptitude, DSA, OOPs, Operating Systems, DBMS, Communication skills, and Group Discussion. Eligibility required above 8 CGPA.

Round 1 (Online Coding Interview): This 75-minute round consisted of 100 MCQ questions on Aptitude.

Round 2 (Online Coding Interview): Lasting 90 minutes, this round had 4 coding questions with choices in 2 of them, requiring 3 questions to be answered. One question was "All Paths From Source Lead To Destination" (moderate, solved with DFS backtracking). Another was "Nth node of BST" (recursive approach, inorder traversal, checking count). A third was "Zig-zag pattern" for a string (brute force using a 2D array).

Round 3 (Technical Interview): This round started with a discussion about projects and the candidate's background. It then moved to technical topics like system design, OOPs, programming basics, and OS/DBMS. The interviewer also asked about the candidate's interests before proceeding to the coding part. The programming questions were not very hard, but the overall experience was intimidating.

Round 4 (Group Discussion & HR): This round involved a 30-minute Group Discussion followed by a 5-minute HR interaction.

Tips and Suggestions: The candidate advised having 1 good project and 2 smaller projects on the resume. Excellent communication skills are essential, especially for GD. Practicing DSA thoroughly is a must. For resume tips, avoid Udemy/Coursera certifications unless professional, keep it to a single page, and only list owned skills.
