Topics Asked: Aptitude, Logical Reasoning, Verbal Ability, JavaScript, ReactJS, Data Structures, DBMS, OS, Machine Learning, Python, OOPs (interfaces vs abstract classes, pass by reference/value in Java, memory leakage in Java, immutability of strings, static methods), Coding (CodeChef TWTCLOSE), System Design (OTT platform like Netflix).

Experience:

This experience describes an interview process for a Product Engineer-I role, combining an internship with a potential full-time offer.

Round 1 (Aptitude + Technical MCQs): This round had an unspecified number of questions to be completed in 40-45 minutes. Topics included quantitative aptitude, logical reasoning, verbal ability, JavaScript, ReactJS, Data Structures, DBMS, and OS.

Round 2 (Coding Test): Two coding questions were to be solved in 1 hour.

Round 3 (Interview Round - 1 [Tech Deep Dive + Coding]): The round started with a self-introduction. The interviewer then reviewed the candidate's CV and asked questions about projects, including ML and Python-related questions for about 10 minutes. Following this, fundamental questions were asked on Java and Python (e.g., differences between interfaces and abstract classes, pass by reference/value in Java, memory leakage, string immutability, static methods), DBMS, and OS. A coding question similar to CodeChef's TWTCLOSE problem was also given.

Round 4 (System Design (Bar-Raiser) Round): The task was to design an OTT platform similar to Netflix or Prime Video. The candidate did not clear this round.

Culture Round or HR (Not Attended): This round would have focused on checking competency under pressure, workplace conflict, and reasons for wanting to join the company.
