Experience:

The selection process started with an online test conducted on the Merittracpariksha platform. The test had a time limit of 65 minutes and consisted of three sections: Quantitative and Analytical Aptitude (15 questions), Verbal Section (15 questions), and Technical Section (20 questions). There was no negative marking.

The Aptitude questions covered logical topics like seating arrangement, data sufficiency, ratios & proportion, time & work, and speed & distance. The Verbal section included reading comprehension and basic grammar. For the Technical section, the candidate opted for C++ and Networking. Questions were basic and straightforward, covering Pillars of OOPs, predicting output in C++, and simple questions on the OSI model & protocols.

The Technical Interview lasted for about 1 hour with a calm and relaxed atmosphere. The interviewer introduced himself and asked the candidate to do the same. Questions were asked about known programming languages and a detailed explanation of the most recent project. The interviewer asked the candidate to write code for sorting a given array using any sorting algorithm and to print an equilateral triangle star pattern. Simple basic questions on networking and operating systems were also posed. The interviewer inquired about the candidate's views on AI and the IT industry.

The HR Interview lasted approximately 30 minutes. The HR representative introduced herself and asked the candidate to introduce themselves, talk about their family background, hobbies, and interests. Questions included preference for working from home or office, willingness to relocate to Bengaluru, the number of interviews given previously, reasons for not being recruited in the past, and any plans for higher studies (with justification). Finally, the candidate was asked if they had any questions for the HR.
