Experience:

SAS R&D conducted an on-campus recruitment drive for various roles in Pune. The selection process involved five stages.

First Round (Shortlisting): This round was based on academic performance, possibly 10th and 12th marks or Diploma Percentage. Around 70-80 candidates were shortlisted.

Second Round (MCQ Test): This was an online test lasting 60 minutes. It covered Aptitude, English, Puzzles, and questions on Graphs and Diagrams. Approximately 20-30 candidates were shortlisted for the next round.

Third Round (Technical Interview): This was an online interview conducted by an Associate/Senior Associate Developer. It began with an introduction, followed by questions on the candidate's internship experience and project details. Technical topics included OOP principles, Cloud Computing, JavaScript, and React. A DSA question of medium difficulty level was asked, with a specific mention to prepare for Dynamic Programming. A puzzle from GeeksforGeeks Puzzles was also part of this round. 13-15 candidates were shortlisted.

Fourth Round (Managerial Interview): This round was conducted offline by a Senior Manager. The discussion included an introduction, project details, and internship experience. Questions focused on teamwork and scenario-based problem-solving. Personal performance questions, such as explaining differences in 10th and 12th marks, were also asked, along with a review of aptitude and previous rounds. 7 candidates were shortlisted, with some receiving a second managerial interview if they weren't a fit for the initial team.

Fifth Round (HR Round): This was an online round, perceived by many as a formality. Questions covered favorite subjects, challenges faced, team project experiences, situational questions, time management, and hobbies. All 6 candidates who reached this round were selected.

Tips: Candidates were advised to focus on development technologies and ensure basic conceptual knowledge of OS, though it could be skipped.
