Experience:

The entire selection procedure for Axxela Advisory was described as competitive, involving four rounds.

Round 1: Speed Math Round
This round required quick calculations, with a recommendation to practice speed maths beforehand.

Round 2: Aptitude Round
This round consisted of 30 questions to be solved in 1 hour, including basic aptitude questions and about five or six English questions.

Round 3: Trading-Based Game Activity
This round was considered challenging for a newcomer and required some experience or understanding of how trading occurs in real markets, including concepts like market depth. The candidate had previous experience in a similar activity during an internship, which helped.

Round 4: Combined HR and Technical Interview
Due to a short window for interviews and a large number of candidates, the HR and technical interviews were combined. The interview concentrated more on the technical part, so questions about projects or internships were generally not asked as it is a trading firm. Soft skills were considered important, as some candidates were rejected in presentation or group discussion rounds due to an inability to express themselves. Some questions were repeated from those found on Glassdoor.
