Experience:

The candidate, Keshav Gupta, interviewed for an SDE Intern role in March 2022. The process consisted of 4 rounds.

Round 1 (Online Coding Interview - Easy): This round lasted 75 minutes and included 1 coding problem along with 10 MCQs covering Data Structures and Algorithms and core subjects.

Round 2 (Face to Face - Hard): Scheduled on Microsoft Teams for 70 minutes, this round involved one coding problem related to Dynamic Programming (DP). The interviewer also asked questions on core subjects such as DBMS, Operating System, and Computer Networks.

Round 3 (Face to Face - Medium): This 50-minute round, also conducted on Microsoft Teams, featured two coding problems. The discussion revolved around the candidate's projects, a comparison between SQL and NoSQL databases, DBMS concepts, and Data Structures and Algorithms. The interviewer was described as very nice, making the round feel more like a discussion than a test.

Round 4 (Face to Face, Tech cum Managerial - Easy): The final round lasted 30 minutes and was a combination of technical and managerial questions. It started with an introduction, followed by discussions about the candidate's projects and resume. One coding problem was also asked in this round.

Tips: The candidate suggested practicing DSA regularly and participating in contests. They also advised including only proficient skills on the resume. For coding problems, tips included reading the question properly, dry running sample test cases, and starting with a brute-force approach if the optimal solution isn't immediately apparent.
