AVEVA visited the campus for its Summer Internship Drive for the 2025 batch, with the entire recruitment process conducted offline on campus.

Round 1: Online Assessment
This was the initial elimination round, lasting approximately 70 minutes. It comprised a 40-minute Behavioral Assessment focusing on personality and workplace behavior, designed to understand problem-solving and teamwork abilities. The remaining 30 minutes were dedicated to Coding (Python only), with very basic DSA problems. Questions included: "Find the minimum element in a list.", "Two football teams play against each other — find the difference in goals.", and one more similar easy-level coding question. The coding difficulty primarily tested logic and syntax familiarity. After this round, 30 students were shortlisted for subsequent interview rounds.

Round 2: Technical Interview 1
This round lasted around 1 hour and focused mainly on conceptual knowledge and project understanding. Key topics covered were: Pattern Programming (a basic pyramid pattern question involving logic and loops), Frontend Basics (discussion on HTML, CSS, and React due to web development projects), Machine Learning (concepts of training and testing datasets, data preprocessing steps, difference between supervised and unsupervised learning, basic explanation of how GPT works and what embeddings are), Operating Systems (a basic question on memory management), and Computer Networks (explaining what happens when "google.com" is typed in a browser).

Round 3: Technical Interview 2 (HR/Behavioral Focused)
The atmosphere in this round was relaxed and conversational, aiming to understand the candidate's mindset and motivation. Key questions included general behavioral and situational questions, future plans like "Will you go for higher studies?", and a discussion on the relevance of AI in AVEVA's work and the candidate's interest in the field.
