Round 1 (Aptitude Test): This round was conducted on the "Talent Central" platform and lasted 2 hours. It comprised four sections, each 25 minutes long with 22 questions: Numerical Reasoning, Verbal Reasoning, Logical Reasoning, and Abstract Reasoning. A score of over 80% in the first, second, and fourth tests appeared to be sufficient to clear the round. A total of 30 candidates were shortlisted for interviews, with 14 for the Analyst position.

Round 2 (Technical + HR): This round began with an hour-long pre-placement talk by the company, followed by interviews. Interviews for the Analyst role generally lasted 40-45 minutes with two panelists. The interview commenced with the standard "Tell me about yourself." This was followed by a detailed discussion of internships and projects, with the candidate asked to explain two favorite projects/internships in detail. One discussion, involving a financial research internship, lasted 7-10 minutes, and another project from a third-year summer internship was discussed for a similar duration. Technical questions on Python were asked, covering concepts like mutability, comprehension, and memory management, along with discussions of Python codes and technicalities. The interviewers tested the candidate's certainty and detailed knowledge of these concepts. A guesstimate question was also posed (e.g., the number of Axis Bank branches in Mumbai), with the focus on the detail and thought process behind the estimations rather than the exact value. The candidate also took the opportunity to ask questions about the job and company, which is considered good practice to show interest.
