Experience:

An IIT Goa student shared their interview experience for the Frontend Engineer role at QuickSell during college placements. The process involved an initial task round, followed by technical interviews.

Round 1 (Task Round): This round involved a take-home task where candidates were given 24-48 hours to build a dashboard using React and other frontend technologies, which then needed to be deployed. The task required a proper design and complete implementation for shortlisting. Out of 30-40 candidates, only four were shortlisted for frontend.

Round 2 (Technical - Senior Frontend Engineer): This round focused on DSA and JavaScript. It could involve asking JavaScript concepts, providing code snippets for manipulation (e.g., array methods), or discussing React concepts like state management, hooks, components, and the Virtual DOM. The interviewer might also ask about Redux, lazy loading, and routing in React, as well as the fundamental reasons behind React's design (e.g., single-page loading). Candidates were advised to have clear basic concepts of JavaScript and React and be prepared to discuss their projects in detail, including specific code parts and design choices.

Round 3 (Technical - Team Lead): This round would typically be with a team lead and further delve into JavaScript concepts and potentially more in-depth technical discussions. If successful, an HR round might be skipped, and an internship with a Pre-Placement Offer (PPO) could be extended.
