This candidate for an SDE 2 role at Nykaa went through four rounds.

Round 1 (Online Assessment - 1 Hr 30 Mins): The online assessment consisted of 3 questions: 2 LeetCode Medium (Dynamic Programming) and 1 LeetCode Easy (array-based). The candidate noted that the platform interface was poor and required a lot of boilerplate code for input.

Round 2 (Coding): This round featured a coding question: "Max Subset sum of a subtree in a given Binary Tree". A follow-up question was also asked: "Maximum subset sum with min nodes in subtree".

Round 3 (Coding): The coding challenge in this round was to "Find Min in a stream of Number in O(1) time, trying to use as less space as possible".

Round 4 (Design | Hiring Manager): This round included Leadership Principles (LP) questions and a system design problem. The candidate was asked to "Design Rate Limiter", covering aspects like Distributed Rate Limiter, its algorithm, Low-Level Design for database selection schema, scalability, and fault tolerance.
