Experience:

The recruitment process for a Software Engineer (1-year intern, potentially convertible to full-time) at NXP Semiconductors consisted of two rounds: an Online Assessment and a Technical Video Interview.

Round 1: Online Assessment
This round was conducted on the Talent Decrypt platform and lasted 90 minutes. It comprised 65 MCQ questions covering C Pseudo Codes, Operating Systems, Computer Networks, Java, and Python. Additionally, there were two coding questions of medium difficulty. Around 100 students were shortlisted for the interview rounds from both software and hardware domains.

Round 2: Technical Video Interview
This round lasted 60 minutes and involved two interviewers. The interviewers were from the team looking for a new member and asked questions specifically related to their domain and project requirements. They started by discussing the candidate's resume and projects. One interviewer focused on C, while the other asked questions on Java.
