Experience:

This was an on-campus interview experience for Nucleus Software in 2023.

First Round (Online Assessment): This round consisted of an online coding assessment and an aptitude test. The coding questions were described as simple array and string problems. The aptitude test involved discovering the result of code snippets.

Second Round (Virtual Technical Interview):

• The interviewer began by asking the candidate to introduce themselves.
• A few fundamental Java questions were asked, such as the meaning of "public" and "static," and what the JDK is.
• Questions based on MySQL followed, including how to find the "second maximum salary" and how to modify a column's name.
• Finally, a logical puzzle was presented, asking to choose the oddest alternative out of four options.

The company primarily focuses on Java principles. The outcome was to be known after these two rounds.
