Applied via Internshala and was shortlisted for a tech interview due to experience with AWS cloud technologies like SQS, Lambda, EC2 from a previous internship.

Interview Round (Technical Interview with Principal Software Engineer)
The interview was scheduled for the next day after the HR call and was conducted by a Principal Software Engineer. Before the interview, the interviewer requested an updated resume.

The interview started with a self-introduction. Questions then focused on:

• Previous internships.
• Explanation of projects and the technologies used.
• Justification of technology choices (e.g., choice of Database, Cache).
• How to set up a CI/CD pipeline for deploying code through GitHub (due to mention on resume).
• Internship experience at MathonGo, working with AWS technologies, including problem statements, hurdles, and final architecture design.
• Why asynchronous code execution was chosen, involving a Message Queue (SQS).

There was no live coding, but general computer science concepts were tested in depth. The interview lasted around 45 minutes. The candidate was given an opportunity to ask questions about company culture and areas for improvement in a tech career.

The interviewer expressed satisfaction with the performance and offered tips, but unfortunately, the candidate did not receive an offer after waiting for several days.
