This on-campus interview experience was for a Cloud Engineer role.

Round 1: Online Assessment (OA)
This round comprised two coding questions of medium to hard difficulty, similar to problems found on LeetCode or GeeksforGeeks. These questions were based on arrays and dynamic programming. Alongside coding, there were multiple-choice questions (MCQs) covering technical topics and general aptitude.

Round 2: Technical Interview
After clearing the OA, candidates were shortlisted for this round. Since the role was for Cloud Engineer, most questions were Java-related, even though the candidate's primary background wasn't Java. Questions included:

• Array Coding Question: Find the second largest element in an array (explanation of approach, no code required).
• Two basic probability questions.
• OOP Concepts: Polymorphism and Abstraction.
• Time Complexity: Discussion of various algorithms, including binary search, and the time complexity of the array question.

Discussions involved the candidate's internship at IISc Bangalore (project, challenges, how they were overcome) and the company's ongoing work. The candidate also asked a question about a potential approach related to the company's projects.

Round 4: HR Interview
This was the formal HR interview, covering:

• "Why should we hire you?"
• "How was your interview experience?"
• Questions about the CEO's name and company competitors.
• Comfort with relocating to Bangalore.
• A scenario about learning new technology during an internship without dedicated time and how to manage contributing directly to a project.
