Initial Phase (Online Assessment): This phase had a duration of 90 minutes. It included 30 MCQs covering Operating Systems, C fundamentals, Computer Organization, and tree traversal techniques. The coding challenges involved cloning a linked list, reversing a linked list in groups of K, and calculating the diameter of a tree. C and C++ were the permitted languages.

Technical Round 1 (In-Depth Technical Inquiry): This round lasted 60 minutes. Topics explored included OS scheduling algorithms and their comparative analysis, pseudo-code for the Producer-Consumer problem, reversing words in a string, understanding Little Endian and Big Endian formats and their applications, and bitwise operations, such as finding a missing number in an array.

Technical Round 2 (Advanced Technical Discussion): This round also lasted 60 minutes. Discussion points included detailed questions on a Machine Learning project, focusing on overfitting, underfitting, and model validation metrics. Designing a Bluetooth-enabled bulb with considerations for multiple user connections was another topic. The interviewer also asked about implementing and optimizing a power function in C using bitwise operations, types of operating systems and their specific use cases, and computing the XOR of two numbers without the XOR operator.

HR Round (Personal and Professional Fit): This round had a duration of 30 minutes. Queries addressed included the role and impact of MediaTek in the semiconductor industry, personal strengths and weaknesses and strategies to manage them, and expectations from the workplace and company culture.
