Round 1: MCQs on InterviewBit

This online assessment included 25 MCQ questions on OS, DBMS, Quants, LR, OOPS, and DSA, along with 2 coding questions.

  • Coding Question 1: Easy, involving a while loop.
  • Coding Question 2: Based on Dynamic Programming, solved in O(n^2) with most test cases passed.

19 out of 200 students were selected for the next round.

Round 2: Interview Round on DSA

This round focused on OOPS and DSA. The interviewer was friendly.

  • OOPS: Method overloading, method overriding, classes and objects.
  • DSA: Kadane's algorithm, "Product of Array Except Self" (LeetCode problem, find pattern from I/O), "Climbing Stairs" problem.

Overall, this round was rated easy to medium.

Round 3: Interview Round on Advanced DSA / Web

The candidate chose the Web option. This round was difficult with medium to advanced-level questions.

  • DSA: Spiral matrix traversal, Trapping Rain Water, Finding the first and last position of an index in LogN TC.
  • Networking: Application-based and indirect questions on Cookies and Sessions, TCP handshake, and DNS lookup.
  • SQL: Write an SQL query to return an Employee with the maximum salary from two tables (Emp_id, Emp_name and Emp_id, salary).

The candidate was selected after this round. A key tip was to keep interacting with the interviewer.
