The recruitment process began at 9 AM and concluded around 3:30 AM the next day. A total of 360 students were shortlisted from 2200, and ultimately, 110 were selected.

Round 1: Screening. This round had a significant change in pattern from earlier years. Instead of Psychometric Analysis, a new section on General Knowledge and Current Affairs was introduced. Candidates could choose one field from Art and Literature, Entertainment, Sports, and Current Affairs. The questions varied, including quotes from Tolstoy and Shakespeare, and paintings from Da Vinci and Salvador Dalí.

Section 2 was an Aptitude round covering Mathematics, Data Interpretation, C/Python, English, and Logical Reasoning. The difficulty level was medium to hard.

Section 3 involved a subjective Case Study. One question focused on factors a company considers before launching a smartphone, requiring analysis from provided tables and four essay-type answers (around 700 words each). Another case study involved a footwear brand planning to launch its Women-Collection for the first time.

Round 2: Group Discussion (GD). The interviewer(s) aimed to make candidates comfortable. Discussion topics included reasons for choosing Mu Sigma and how rumors of excessive work pressure affect candidates. A specific GD topic was "ways of increasing the sales volume of a beverage company." The advice given was to back up points with confidence and logic, regardless of how many times one speaks.

Round 3: Technical + HR Interview. This round lasted 35-40 minutes and was described as a "stress interview." Questions began with the interviewer asking if the candidate was tired, nervous, or excited given the late hour. Other questions included "whether it was my first interview," "why did I choose Mu Sigma above all other companies," and "who am I as a person." Detailed discussions on projects and research papers, especially those incorporating Machine Learning concepts, were also part of this round.

Further HR questions included "where I see myself after 5 years," "how excited I am to be a part of the organization," "what are my hobbies," and "how often have I stepped out of my comfort zone to learn something new." The interviewer also asked if the candidate had any questions. Tips included being ready for a stress interview, being different, and relaxing.

The results were announced at approximately 3:30 AM, and the candidate was selected.
