Moneyview visited VIT Vellore in November 2021 for SDE and Data Scientist roles. The eligibility criteria included an 8 CGPA, and 800 students were initially shortlisted.

Round 1: Online Test (HirePro): This round consisted of 30 MCQs covering non-technical areas like Logical Reasoning and Aptitude, along with two coding questions. Time management was a significant challenge in this round. One coding question involved finding all occurrences of String A or anagrams of String A in String B, which was considered medium difficulty. The second coding question presented a real-life problem statement requiring an algorithm. The aptitude section was challenging, but the coding questions were of easy-medium range. After this round, 100 students were shortlisted for the technical interview.

Round 2: Technical Interview (DS ALGO ROUND) (1 hour): The interviewer was friendly and began with a general introduction. Questions then moved to the candidate's projects, which were related to ML and NLP. Specific questions were asked about accuracy, precision, F1 score calculation, and how machine learning models are assessed, including what TF-IDF means. A DSA question was posed, which the candidate couldn't fully solve but provided an approach that passed more than 3/4ths of the test cases, satisfying the interviewer. Further technical questions included: "What does Moneyview do?", "Explain ACID guarantees", "Use of Static Keyword", "Difference Between Const and enum", and "Why Exception handling is used and what is the use of custom exception in Java".

Round 3: Technical Interview (Projects Round): Not Specified

Round 4: HR Round: This round was described as very relaxed, almost a formality. The HR asked about the candidate's family background, schooling, and reasons for choosing engineering. The primary goal was to gauge the candidate's interest in the offer.
