Experience:

The candidate applied for an SDE1 role at MindTickle through a referral after seeing a LinkedIn post.

Initial Screening: A phone call was scheduled to discuss the interview process, experience, and motivation for joining Mindtickle.

Round 1 (Coding Round): Two easy-to-medium level LeetCode problems were given. The first problem was array-based, and the second was related to binary search. The candidate successfully solved both.

Round 2 (Low-Level Design - LLD Round): The candidate was asked to design a Test Result Dashboard system that displays user scores, ranks, and top 10 scorers (similar to a LeetCode leaderboard). The candidate provided a solution, pseudocode, and explained it. Questions on incorporating Kafka and Redis for efficiency were also asked and answered.

Round 3 (Hiring Manager - HM Round): This round involved a deep dive into past projects, including personal projects and work experience. The candidate felt well-prepared and confident.

Round 4 (HR Round): A casual conversation to understand the candidate's motivation for joining Mindtickle and to discuss general topics.

Outcome: An offer was received on the same day after completing Round 4.
