This interview experience for AthenaHealth consisted of three rounds.

Round 1: HackerRank Test (90 minutes)
This round had 12 questions. There were 10 MCQs based on core subjects like OS, CN, and OOPS concepts, including code-related questions to predict output. Additionally, there were 2 coding questions.

Round 2: Technical Interview (60 minutes)
The technical interview was conducted on HackerRank CodePair. Questions were asked based on projects, for example, Blockchain (What is blockchain? How is it useful? How does it ensure data confidentiality and integrity? Explain its working) and MEAN Stack (What did you do? What is Mongo? What do you know about non-structural databases?). Programming language concepts were also covered, including differences between C, C++, and Java, object-oriented vs. procedural languages, whether Java is truly object-oriented, how Java uses primitive data types, and differences between Integer Class and int data type. Further questions included pointers (how memory is allocated, problems with pointers, why removed in Java), OOP concepts (Inheritance, types of inheritance, calling parent constructors, C++/Java inheritance support, multiple inheritance in C++, method overriding and overloading with real-life examples), and static variables. The interviewer also asked about stack growth and heap, and the difference between String and StringBuilder classes. Coding problems included implementing Merge Sort and showing Inheritance using an abstract class.
