Rounds: At least 4 rounds (Eduthrill, Coding, Technical 1, Technical 2)

Topics Asked: Computer Science subjects (Networks, Data Structures, Pseudo-codes), Coding (unit test cases), Projects, House Robbing problem (circular array variation), DBMS (diff b/w delete, drop, truncate, normal forms), Linked List (kth element from end), Palindrome pair in array of words, SQL query, ATM Application (OOPS Design)

Experience:

This interview experience for an FTE+Internship offer from Accolite Digital (through a "SheCodes" drive) involved several rounds.

Round 1 (Eduthrill): This initial round on Eduthrill consisted of questions from computer science-based subjects such as Networks, Data Structures, and pseudo-codes, along with one coding question.

Coding Round: In this round, candidates were required to write unit test cases in addition to the code. A few candidates were shortlisted after this round for the technical interviews.

Technical Round 1: The interviewer asked about the candidate's projects and requested an explanation of one of them, with no cross-questions asked related to projects.

  • Coding Question: The "House Robbing" problem was asked. The interviewer requested a dry run of the code and then inquired about the changes needed if the array was circular.
  • DBMS Questions: Differences between `delete`, `drop`, and `truncate` commands were discussed, along with questions on normal forms in databases.

Technical Round 2: This round began with a brief explanation of the candidate's projects. Following this, two coding questions were given.

  • Coding Questions:
  • Find the kth element from the end of a linked list.
  • Palindrome pair in an array of words or strings (the interviewer was looking for the efficient trie-based approach, reference: GeeksforGeeks problem).
  • SQL Query: One SQL query was given based on a supermarket management system, and then modifications to the same question were asked.
  • System Design: The final question was to design an ATM Application, focusing on OOPS-based design principles.
