Experience:

The L&T interview process began with an online assessment on October 05, 2023. This assessment had four sections: Quantitative Aptitude, Logical Reasoning, Verbal Ability, and a Coding Test. The Quantitative Aptitude section covered topics like algebra, geometry, and data interpretation, evaluating mathematical abilities and problem-solving under time constraints. Logical Reasoning involved puzzles and scenarios to test critical thinking and analytical skills. Verbal Ability assessed language command through reading comprehension, vocabulary, and grammar. The Coding Test presented programming problems, allowing the candidate to choose a language. The candidate felt confident about their performance in this round.

The second round was a combined Technical and HR Assessment. Questions included "Tell me about yourself," "Can we write a program?" and "Why you don't know how to write a program?" Technical questions focused on Java concepts such as "What is JVM?" and "Why Java is platform-independent?" The interviewer also asked about the "difference between class and object," "Prime no logic?", "Do you know Angstrom no?", and "Palindrome?". Further questions were "What is a user-defined method?", "What is robust?", "Why it is robust?", and "Why do we have to write it?". The round concluded with two reasoning questions and an opportunity for the candidate to ask questions. The candidate was selected.
