Rounds: 3 initial rounds (MCQ, Subjective, Coding) followed by at least 2 Interview Rounds.

Topics Asked: OOPs, Pointers, Programming Fundamentals, Aptitude, Data Structures (Binary Search, BST, Linked Lists), Algorithms, Output Prediction, String Manipulation.

Experience:

This was an on-campus opportunity for the 2023 graduating batch for the Software Developer (SD) role. The recruitment process involved three initial rounds on the same day, all of which were elimination rounds.

Round 1: MCQ Round (50 minutes)
This round comprised 50 MCQs related to pointers, output prediction, OOPs, and programming fundamentals. Some aptitude questions were also included. A decent knowledge of OOPs and pointers was advantageous.

Round 2: Subjective Round (75 minutes)
This round consisted of three coding questions and one output prediction question. One coding question involved manipulating a string with 'I' (increasing) and 'D' (decreasing) sequences. Writing comments to explain the approach was encouraged.

Round 3: Coding Round
(Details not explicitly separated, but implied to be a further coding assessment before interviews)

Interview Round 1 (2 hours 45 minutes)
There were two interviewers. They asked two DSA questions. The first question was related to Binary Search, very similar to the "Koko Eating Bananas" problem on LeetCode, with a change in the story. The candidate had to write the code and then dry run it on a given test case. The second question involved a BST.

Final Thoughts: The overall experience was good, but facing failure after getting so close was disappointing. The candidate emphasized the importance of commenting different approaches for the community.
