Experience:

This candidate received an on-campus placement opportunity for a Software Developer position at Quantiphi Inc. The recruitment process consisted of an initial screening, three technical interviews, and an HR interview.

Round 1: Initial Screening (Online Test)

The online test comprised 90 questions on Aptitude & Verbal Reasoning, along with two coding problems of easy to medium difficulty. Time management across different sections was noted as an obstacle.

Round 2: Technical Interview 1

This round lasted 45 minutes and involved solving three problems (one medium, two easy). The questions focused on JavaScript, ReactJS, Data Structures & Algorithms. Logical problem-solving under time constraints was a challenge.

Round 3: Technical Interview 2

Conducted via video, this 60-minute round focused on JavaScript, ReactJS, Data Structures & Algorithms. Questions included JavaScript & ReactJS Basics, finding the second largest element in an array, and explaining/implementing Bubble Sort. Implementing sorting algorithms was an obstacle.

Round 4: Technical Interview 3

This 1-hour video interview covered JavaScript, database concepts, and logical problem-solving. Key questions included ACID properties in databases and JavaScript execution order. Logical problem-solving questions related to arrays were also included. Understanding JavaScript execution order, especially with asynchronous operations like setTimeout, was identified as a potential challenge.

Round 5: HR Interview

Common questions like "Tell me about yourself" and "What are your salary expectations?" were asked. The discussion also covered company culture, growth opportunities, and work expectations. Feedback received indicated strong problem-solving, JavaScript skills, and DSA knowledge, with recommendations to enhance database concepts and practice time-bound problem-solving, and strengthen advanced JavaScript and database fundamentals.
