Experience:

This interview experience for Jubilant FoodWorks was conducted on-campus. The candidate went through two rounds.

Round 1: Online Assessment Test

This round consisted of 25 MCQs covering aptitude and CS Fundamentals. Additionally, there were 2 DSA questions: one medium level and one easy level.

Round 2: Technical Online Interview

The second round was a technical online interview lasting approximately 50-55 minutes. The interviewer started by asking the candidate to introduce themselves and explain their projects along with the tech stack used.

Questions were asked on various CS fundamentals including DBMS, OS, CN, Compiler Design, and Cloud Computing. Specific questions included: "What is an assembler?", "What are the six phases of a compiler?", "What are the different cloud delivery models?", "What do you mean by Virtual Machines?", "What do you mean by Gateway?", "What are the advantages and disadvantages of serverless computing?", "What is the advantage of Rate Limiting in cloud computing?", "Explain the Third Normal Form in DBMS with an example.", and "What are the types of process schedulers and their functions?".

OOPs concepts were also covered with questions like: "What do you mean by constructor overloading?", "Explain inheritance with real-life examples.", "What are access specifiers?", and "What are the different types of Polymorphism?".

A DSA question asked was: "Permutations of a given string."

The candidate found the interviewer friendly, but ultimately was not selected for further rounds. The tip provided was to brush up on CS Fundamentals and basic DSA questions, and to be confident and honest.
