Experience:

The candidate, with 4 years of experience, applied for an SDE3 (Associate - 602 Level) role in Hyderabad. The process started in the first week of June 2024 when a recruiter reached out.

Online Assessment (June 2nd Week):

The OA consisted of two medium-difficulty Data Structures questions. The candidate passed all test cases.

Interview Day (July 2nd Week):

Three rounds were conducted on the same day, each lasting 45 minutes.

Round 1 (45 mins): Coding & Data Structures

The interviewer gave a code review task, allowing the candidate to choose the language (Java was chosen). Following this, a Data Structures question was asked: "Find the longest substring without repeating characters." A follow-up question was also given: "longest substring if k repeating characters are allowed." The candidate solved both, and the round went well.

Round 2 (45 mins): Design Round (HLD)

The design problem was: "If you are given an AI service which can detect in/out of all vehicles in a parking lot, design a service to be able to integrate the AI service to your parking lot." Discussions included which components would require scaling. The candidate discussed the approach, and the round went well.

Round 3 (45 mins): Managerial Round

This round primarily involved behavioral questions, mostly "Tell me about a time when..." scenarios.

Post Interview:

A couple of days later, the candidate received an email from HR to confirm current CTC details, notice period, and required CTC. An offer was received a couple of days after that. A week after receiving the offer, two team matching calls happened, and the candidate chose a team.
