Experience:

The selection process for the Software Engineer role at ION Group consisted of 6 rounds: 1 online assessment and 5 interviews.

1) Online Assessment: This was hosted on HackerRank and included around 10 MCQs and 2 coding questions. The coding questions were of easy to medium difficulty, one being a string-related problem and the other a Dynamic Programming (DP) problem. The candidate solved the first completely and the second partially.

2) 1st & 2nd Interview Round (Technical + Case Study): These rounds involved an introduction, followed by 3 puzzles: "50 red and 50 blue marbles", "Camel and bananas" (approach only), and "Three jars of candies, sweets, and a mix".
