Result: Not Specified

Difficulty: Medium to Hard

Rounds: 4 rounds

Topics Asked: Data Structures, Algorithms, Projects, Technologies, Database structure, Schemas, Functional and non-functional requirements, Security, Scalability, Regex, MongoDB, Firebase, Unit Testing, React Optimization, HR questions.

Experience:

The interview process consisted of 4 rounds: CV selection, 1 Online Coding Round, 2 Technical Rounds, and 1 HR Round.

Coding Round: This round had 4 questions. The candidate solved 3 completely, including a hard one. One question was easy, two were medium, and one was hard. A specific question mentioned was: "Given a matrix of size N*N (empty) and k (number of operations). In each operation, you will be given two values r (rth row) and c (cth column) and you have to place 'X' in rth row cells and cth column cells. After each operation, you are required to print the number of empty cells in the matrix."

Technical Rounds: These rounds involved detailed discussions on projects, including tech stacks, problems faced, efficiency, database structure, schemas, functional/non-functional requirements, security, and scalability. Specific questions included: "What is Regex? How to efficiently find all the data (documents) in the database that don't match the given Regex?". Other questions covered the benefits of MongoDB and Firebase, how the application was tested (including unit testing), and React optimization techniques (Lazy loading, dividing into modules, optimizing webpack). Interviewers focused on the approach to problems rather than just complete solutions, emphasizing DSA.

HR Round (Telephonic): Questions in this round assessed self-reflection and company knowledge, such as "could you have done better in all previous rounds and how?", "what has been your greatest failure?", and "what do you know about us or our company?".

Tips: Be positive and speak clearly. Take your time to answer and don't rush. Interviewers are generally nice and helpful.
