Experience:

The candidate, a software developer with over 3 years of experience, applied for an SDE2 position in Noida. The application was through Cutshort, followed by an HR screening call to discuss background, current role, tech experience, and company culture.

Round 1: Technical Interview (DSA Focus)

This round primarily focused on Data Structures and Algorithms. After warm-up questions about the candidate's experience, a coding problem was presented: "maximum continuous 1s in a binary array". The candidate explained the approach, discussed edge cases, and provided an efficient solution.

Round 2: Technical Interview (System Design)

This round was centered on system design. The interviewer asked to "Design a queue pipeline service that takes a function, processes it, and outputs the result". The candidate broke down requirements, discussed possible architectures, and talked through the design.

Round 3: Managerial/System Design Interview

This final round combined managerial and system design questions. A scenario was given: "how to design a system to upload CSV files, parse them, and trigger actions based on their content". The candidate explained handling file uploads, validating/parsing CSV data, and designing a workflow. Follow-up questions on team collaboration and decision-making were also asked.

Final Thoughts & Result: The process was efficient, with positive feedback received the same day as the last round. An official offer was extended within a week.
