InMobi visited the campus in December for recruitment, which included an online screening round, two technical rounds, and one HR round.

Round 1 (Online Assessment): This round, held on the DoSelect platform, consisted of three questions with a 2-hour duration. Questions were similar to: "Tree Distances I" (cses.fi/problemset/task/1674), "Connect N ropes with minimum cost" (GeeksforGeeks, with a comma-separated input parsing catch), and "Cheapest Flights Within K Stops" (LeetCode). After this round, 25 candidates were shortlisted, with an additional 25 on an extended list.

Round 2 (Technical Round 1): The interviewer was friendly. After introductions, an open-ended design question was given: "Design a hospital appointment system with certain priorities for patients." The primary discussion points were choosing appropriate data structures and adhering to object-oriented paradigms.

Round 3 (Technical Round 2): The interviewer was serious and began with a DSA question. The first problem, initially complex, boiled down to the "next smaller element" concept. The candidate proposed a stack solution and, after hints, came up with a constant space optimized approach. Another question was then presented, similar to "Maximum Number of Visible Points" (LeetCode). The candidate, after some initial struggle and hints, deduced a sliding window and mathematical approach and quickly coded it.

Round 4 (HR Round): This was a relaxed HR round. Basic questions were asked about the introduction, life during COVID times, projects, and hobbies. This round concluded within 10 minutes, and the candidate received a selection confirmation shortly after.
