Info Edge conducted a recruitment drive in the college for the role of Testing Engineer (SDET).

Round 1: Online Test

• Conducted on their platform FirstNaukri.
• Consisted of multiple-choice questions and one coding question.
• MCQs covered code input/output, DBMS, Aptitude (quant, logical reasoning).
• Coding Question: Print the Fibonacci series up to n (input given by the user). The coding language choice was Java.
• The candidate performed well and proceeded to the next round.

Round 2: Technical Interview-1

• Lasted for 1 hour 10 minutes, scheduled the day after Round 1.
• Questions on test cases: For buying a pen, for submitting an online form.
• Two coding questions.
• DBMS: A SQL join query to get the desired output.
• Puzzles.

Round 3: Technical Interview-2

• Lasted for around 30 minutes, conducted on the same day as Round 2.
• Questions on projects: Online working of the project, how it was made, individual or group project, technologies used.
• Puzzles:
  1. 2 moms and 2 daughters go to a shop and buy a pair of sandals each. But when they came outside the pair were only 3, how?
  2. How will you cut the cake in equal pieces with only 3 cuts to divide the cake into your 8 friends?
  3. You have a bucket of water that can hold 5 liters and 3 liters. How to measure a specific quantity (implied, common puzzle type).

Round 4: HR Round

• This was the last round.
• Common questions: Family background, plans for higher studies, weakness, how friends define you.
