Experience:

This on-campus interview process for an Associate Software Engineer role involved 4 rounds.

Round 1: Online Coding Interview
This round took place in the evening on September 28, 2021, and had a duration of 90 minutes. It consisted of 4 sections:

• Aptitude Questions
• Quantitative Analysis
• English
• 2 Coding questions

Coding problems were:

• Sum Of Squares Of First N Natural Numbers (Easy).
• Bubble Sort (Easy).

Round 2: System Design Question (Pen and Paper / Word Document)
This round had a duration of 30 minutes and was conducted on March 8, 2022. The interviewer was good. The question was:

• Design a solution to reduce overcrowding in different coaches in a new metro rail service.

Approach for answering: The preferred format included Problem statement, Solution (in bullet points, no essays), Flowchart, Summary, and Conclusion. Candidates could use pen and paper, Word document, or PowerPoint, but digital format was preferred.

Round 3: Technical Interview (Video Call)
This round took place on May 11, 2022, and lasted 30 minutes. The interviewer was nice.

• Introduction.
• Discussion on the system design round solution.
• Discussion on the project the candidate had done.
• Questions related to OOPS (basic concepts).
• A coding problem (e.g., Nth Fibonacci Number).

Round 4: HR Round / Final Meet Round
This was described as a combined HR round and final meet round, conducted on June 14, 2022. All 15 candidates were asked to join the same meeting. They were initially told that only 10 would be hired and were asked "Why should you be hired?" for 30 seconds each. However, all 15 candidates were ultimately selected.
